Be able to attach PDF documents and other non Native documents and Search through them,

It would be great if it had OCR / PDF searching plus other document Meta data search for the attached photos etc. EXIF etc.

automatically detect and turn 'http://...' and '...@...' into clickable web & email links when paste web material to the Document Pane.

The software only detect and turn these into clickable links (underlined) if the material is entered mannually but not if pasted from websites. BTW, it would be welcome if the startup speed can be faster.

I have been a mind map user for well over 10 years and found that it is an incredible tool for organizing thoughts, brainstorming and collating ideas etc. Pleased to see that you can import .mmp files, but dissapointed that any Outlook Contact files

This could serve as a troubleshooting engine if you add 'yes', 'no' and 'don't know' navigation from each node with programmed responses to the next node.

This would then serve as an editable version of a help system as used in product support call centers.

Have Templates such as Twitter templates that limit each entry to 140 char.

The ability to set up templates would be great where the notes need to be exported in a slightly more structured way. Twitter notes (as an example) could then be exported to an RSS or flat file for use with various Twitter management and...

Drag ANY type of file onto the Tree and be able to OPEN with a double click

I would love to use this to quickly access files that may be associated with more than one project, but these are Word, Excel, soundbites, videos, PowerPoints, images... If I could just drag the file onto the tree and view a thumbnail of it like...

Allow a web page to be saved and attached into the tree. Either by saving into a generic file for incoming pages or as "addressed" as it comes into the system. It would be usefull as a database with a heirarchy. The other functions would make this...

Have a smaller size

11.5 MB is pretty large... if you could make it smaller it would be awesome for people with small or already crammed hard drives.

I first tried using this to organize my photographs. It was frustrating to have to add them one at a time to a node. Why not enable inserting multiple items at a time into a node?
